A Mitsubishi Electric City Multi System was selected for various reasons. Greater zoning controls allowed for greater individual comfort levels, as well as individual metering. Further, the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology provided significantly reduced operating costs. Lastly, given that these systems do not require a large footprint, the smaller equipment space resulted in more rentable footage for the building.
