OACETT Peel Chapter (Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and Technicians) arranged “HVAC SEMINAR” sponsored and hosted by Mits Air conditioning Inc. on 18th October 2007. The Seminar was on a very special topic “Savings in Power consumption in Canada” and well attended by leading Engineering Consultants, Mechanical Contractors and Executives of OACETT. The speakers on the occasion were Satish Sharma the vice chair of OACETT Peel Chapter who organized the Seminar and Jim Chaters the National Sales Manager of Mits Air conditioning Inc.
The seminar covered almost all important topics pertaining to savings in Power Consumption such as: Introduction of Energy saving methods, Proper utilization of Non peak hours for energy application, preventive steps adopted for energy savings, Budgeting the resources and Introduction of the latest HVAC Equipments in the Canadian market aimed for maximum Energy savings in the domestic and commercial applications. Jim also explained with supportive Technical data as to how modern Air Source Heat pumps provide Heating in our climate much more economically as compared to Natural Gas, Oil or Propane without using Fossel Fuels. He also emphasized that Heat pumps compete very well with Geothermal Units with lower initial costs and ease of Installation
